Questions before you build
Answers about project status, safe use, downloads, privacy, and contributing a useful correction.
Common questions
Are project sketches physically tested?
Each project states its firmware status. Generated starter scaffolds require review against the exact board and components and bench verification; the site does not claim a physical test unless recorded.
Can I upload a sketch directly?
Review the exact board, pin assignments, libraries, and wiring first. Compilation alone does not establish hardware safety.
Why use a motor driver?
A GPIO is a control signal, not a motor power supply. Use a driver and supply rated for the actual load.
Are these certified engineering designs?
No. The guides are educational notes unless a page explicitly states otherwise.
How do I report a correction?
Open a GitHub issue with the project ID, exact board, steps, expected result, and measured result. Do not include secrets.
Where is course progress stored?
Completion, theme, and project journal entries are stored in local browser storage on that device.
How should RF projects be used?
Only with owned or explicitly authorized equipment and in line with local radio regulations.
